我們今天游覽的是黔靈山，大家都知道我們貴陽，是一個人杰地靈的地方，相傳有一位老和尚來到貴陽，發現在貴陽的某座山上，匯聚了大量的天地靈氣，于是老和尚來到這里倒栽了一棵松樹，結果，這棵松樹居然存活了，而且枝繁葉茂，證明了老和尚的話，這位老和尚就是有名的赤松和尚。于是他在這里修建了一座寺廟，名曰“弘福寺”，意為弘揚佛法，造福天下。而這座匯聚了天地靈氣的靈山，則叫做“黔靈山”。
各位游客，現在我們面前的這座山就是黔靈山了，它由大羅嶺、象王嶺、白象嶺、檀山、杖缽峰、獅子臺、關刀巖、寶塔峰和北峰組成。現在的黔靈公園就是由黔靈山為主體，后又開辟了黔靈湖，動物園，麒麟洞，二壩和三嶺灣等景點。
在我的右手邊是索道，如果想先登上山頂可以從索道出發。如果想去看看大熊貓、孔雀、獅子老虎的游客，可以從三嶺灣、麒麟洞去參觀動物園。不過“玩山”的人，特別是朝山拜佛的香客，大都沿著“九曲徑”慢慢爬上去。
現在我們腳下的九曲徑共有382級臺階，24個“之”字拐，因有9個大彎道而稱為“九曲徑”。沿著山道旁的石壁上，有許多石刻，從“第一山”、 “黔靈勝境”到“南無阿彌陀佛”……引導人們走近佛門，感受“心既是佛”的境界。大家看，這里有一個巨大的“虎”字，這是清朝的石刻。為什么在這佛山上會有“虎”字?大家都知道，虎是山中之王，以虎鎮山，還有什么妖魔鬼怪敢接近呢?于是，佛法弘揚，得一清凈之地。走到上面還有一個“吹螺壁”，一些奇妙的小洞遍布在石壁上，洞眼大小象手指一樣，如果用嘴貼著石壁可吹出海螺鳴叫的聲音，傳說吹響小洞，就能使人長壽。九曲徑的最后，還有一個泉亭，叫做洗缽池。
到了這里，我們就走完九曲徑了，各位游客，現在我的右手邊這幅大型石雕叫做“九龍浴佛”，它說的是釋迦磨尼誕生時，有九條龍吐水為他沐浴。左手邊就是弘福寺了。平時寺門只會開邊上的小門，大家知道為什么嗎?在佛教，這叫做山門，分別代表空門、無相門和無作門，如果中間的門開了，那就是遁入空門，出家當和尚了。
