在定從中，as 是關(guān)系代詞，在從句作主語或賓語。
(1) such +n+as….
such inns as there were were generally dirty and flea-ridden.（as 作主語）
=there were inns and inns were generally dirty and flea-ridden.
那有一些小旅館，旅館通常很臟而且布滿跳蚤。
such people as are indolent are not easy to make their goals a reality.
懶惰的人不容易實現(xiàn)目標。
these are such points as they discussed at the meeting.
這些是他們在會上討論的觀點。
(2) as +adj +n +as +…
you should drink as much water as is required. （第二個as 作主語）
你應該盡可能多的喝被要求喝的`水。
you’d better make as few mistakes as we did.（第二個as作賓語，引導定從）

(3) the same +n +as…
he uses the same book as i bought.

例如：
as the proverb says, each coin has two sides.
=each coin has two sides, as the proverb says.
=each coin, as the proverb says, has two sides.

注意：as引導的非限制性定從可放在句首、句中、句末；
which引導一個句子為先行詞的非限制性定從只能放在句末。
